Why aren't I receiving emails from Kik?

If you've just registered your Kik account, or requested a new password, you should receive an email from us within a few minutes. If you can't see an email from us in your inbox, check your junk mail or spam folder in case it ends up in there.

There are a few reasons why you might not be receiving emails from us:

  • You used a different email address for your Kik account
  • The email address registered to your Kik account isn't valid (maybe there's a typo)
  • Our emails to you are being blocked or filtered as spam - contact your email provider for help allowing emails from our 'no-reply@kik.com' email address


It's important to always have a valid and accessible email address registered to your Kik account (and all your app accounts). To make sure that you're the only person who can access your account, we're only able to send emails to the email address registered to your account.
